My name is David O’Neill and Out & About Carpets is my business. I have more than 30 years experience in selling carpets and flooring – most of that time with Carpet World – but elsewhere for well-known retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers.
Back in 2011 I’d had enough of working long hours in a showroom. I felt that there must be a better way of using my knowledge for clients – and taking the showroom to the client was the idea I came up with.
I did my research and there wasn’t anyone who took the carpets and flooring to the clients home that I could find – and surely the best place for choosing a new carpet or flooring is the home?!
“Out & About Carpet” was born and has taken off like I couldn’t believe! Now we’re looking for like-minded people to help us grow….
