Project Description
Martine lives in a very busy home with young children and pets. She really needed flooring that could withstand heavy traffic that was easy to clean and at a reasonable price.
We went round to her home and recommended this compact twist pile carpet.
Due to the strong bright colour scheme in her home she needed something to complement it.

The carpet she chose was perfect for her stairs, landing and bedrooms.

Benefits Of Short Compact Twist Carpet
Short compact twist carpet which makes it ideal for heavy domestic use and especially for the stairs and landing.
Because of this any flattening of the pile will be reduced and it will be very resilient compared to a deep pile. If you look closely you might notice a slight fleck in the colour.
The fleck pattern can reduce the amount of bits, crumbs and pet hair showing up on the carpet and is an added bonus for anyone who doesn’t like hoovering!
The pile is not looped, which makes it less likely to be damaged by her pets. The carpet is also bleach cleanable which is great for for spot cleaning.
Using an Underlay
I recommended ‘Eziflor 9mm heavy density underlay’ for the stairs/landing. For the bedrooms I recommended 11mm Carpenters Deep Step underlay.
The thick underlay will give a sumptuous luxury feel and will reduce any noise from the upstairs bedrooms.
